Anton Vital is a guitarist and composer born in St. Petersburg, Russia, and raised in New York City. He began playing guitar at an early age, inspired by the raw power and energy of rock legends such as Tony Iommi and Angus Young. His musical path soon expanded into jazz, leading him to pursue formal studies at the City College of New York, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Performance.

While his academic training provided a strong foundation, Anton’s true education came from years of performing in bars, clubs, and venues across New York City with a wide range of bands and artists. Immersed in many styles, he developed a distinctive voice by blending blues, funk, and jazz with a rock ’n’ roll attitude—a sound that has become his signature. In addition to guitar Anton also plays plectrum and tenor banjo with dixie and brass bands.

Anton has released five self-produced solo albums featuring original material and has contributed as a band member on countless other recordings. Known for his versatility, groove, and musical sensitivity, he remains a sought-after guitarist for live performances and studio sessions.

Currently based in Shanghai, China, Anton continues to perform internationally, collaborating with artists across genres while evolving his sound and expanding his global musical footprint.
